Copperbelt Province is composed of 10 Districts which are : Ndola, Kitwe, Mufulira, Luanshya, Chingola, Chililabombwe, Lufwanyama, Kalulushi, Mpongwe and Masaiti.

BETUZ in Copperbelt  Province has a total membership of 4,846 across the 10 Districts.

 

 

PROGRAMMES

 

+ Examination Monitoring

The province is always involved annually in the sensitization of our Teacher members on how to go about with examinations and the dangers of Exam Mal Practices. We undertake this in a bid to promote Transparency and corruption free examinations.

 

+ Participation in ANTUSA

We as a provice had sent delegates and players to this event which was in Durban, South Africa from the 30th of March to the 5th of April, 2015.

 

+ Education Assistance

A number of our Teacher members have been sponsored to further their education level. Education Assistance has helped our province grow in terms of membership in the province as we are the only union in the province with this kind of initiative.

 

+ International Women's Day, World Teachers Day, Global Action Week & Labour Day

We continue to celebrate the importance of these commemoration dates when due across the province.
