Labour Day is a day recognized in Zambia to commemorate our fellow brothers and sisters who serve in various sectors of the country's economy (workforce).

Teachers across the country participate in their respective towns.

We do participate in the match-past and celebrations of the Public Service Workers ‘every June’ where all government ministries meet to share ideas on how to address challenges linked to the political world order which calls for an open administration, and also to ensure that human resource principles & values founded on culture , good practices were observed in the public service.

This year's celebrations will be done in grand style while focusing on the theme

 "Valuing Teachers, Improving their Status".

All BETUZ members are encouraged to contact their BETUZ officials at School, District or Provincial Level for the Celebration Regalia.
