PROGRAMMES

+ ZEDU PADS

This is a new technology initiative initiated by iSchool Zambia targeting primary school pupils in order to equip them with ICT knowledge.

+ Building Material Loan

Many of our teacher members who applied for this facility are now proud owners of houses. We as BETUZ Eastern province will continue to run this project for the benefit of our hardworking teacher members across the province.

+ International Women's Day, World Teachers Day, Global Action Week & Labour Day

We continue to celebrate the importance of these commemoration dates when due across the province.

+ Tour of Lake Malawi

In order to enhance membership in the province the committee organized a trip to Salima in Malawi which was undertaken from 5th to 8th December, 2014. We look forward to holding another surprise trip this year as well.

+ Participation in ANTUSA

The province considers this a master piece in that it exposes the teachers to the outside world. We as a provice had sent delegates and players to this event which was in Durban, South Africa from the 30th of March to the 5th of April, 2015.
