Membership

BETUZ in Lusaka Province has a total membership of 2669 across the 8 Districts.

PROGRAMMES

+ Teacher Education

As a province, we get to hold seminars meant to provide education to our teachers. Last year, we held a seminar at Garden House Motel and was very well attended by members from all districts across the province.

+ Examination Monitoring

The province is always involved annually in the sensitization of our Teacher members on how to go about with examinations and the dangers of Exam Mal Practices. We undertake this in a bid to promote Transparency and corruption free examinations.

+ Participation in ANTUSA

We as a province had sent delegates and players to this event which was in Durban, South Africa from the 30th of March to the 5th of April, 2015.

+ International Women's Day, World Teachers Day, Global Action Week & Labour Day

We continue to celebrate the importance of these commemoration dates when due across the province.
