PROVINCIAL CENTERS | North Western Province

North Western province is a very vast province comprising of nine (9) districts namely: Solwezi (Hq), Mwinilunga, Kasempa, Mufumbwe, Kabompo, Zambezi, Chavuma, Ikelenge and Manyinga. All these districts have legally instituted Executive Committees.

Membership

The province has a population of 5480 and the union enjoys of a good threshold of this number. As a union , we are still open to recruit as many teachers as we can in this endowed province.

PROGRAMMES

+ Recruitment

+ Leadership Workshops

Under this , we aim at providing training in grievance handling, recruitment strategies and other topics related to unionism.

+ World Teachers Day celebrations

This day falls every year on the 5th of October and celebrated in all 9 districts.

+ Teacher's Day Braii

Hosted by the provincial executive committee on the weekend after teacher's day celebrations. This is always a great opportunity for teacher members to interact with senior union staff among many other delegates.

+ International Women's Day and International labour Day

BETUZ always joins the rest of the world in celebrating these important days. We as Northwestern Province always strive to celebrate this day in style with support from teacher members and Senior leadership.
