In charge of all the training and development programmes of the union workers and members.  The key responsibility of the department is to sensitize members on their duties, rights and responsibilities.

          • It also manages comprehensive database of the training undergone and the skills of workers. Training is conducted in        various ways such as workshops, seminars and conferences.

          • The Worker's Education department also manages educational support for its teacher members who are on continuous professional development (CPD) training.

          • It develops literature aimed at sensitizing members on issues related to the educational sector

The department makes recommendations to management on training and development needs of workers.
