ANTUSA 2017 l LIVINGSTONE - ZAMBIA

10 Years of ANTUSA! This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the ANTUSA sports and cultural gala. The association was born on the 26th of December, 2007 in Kabwe (Zambia) and has over the years grown into a huge festival.

This is an association of teacher-unions in SADC Region comprising the following countries: Botswana (BOSETU), newly signed up Mauritius (UPSEE), Zimbabwe (PTUZ), South Africa (PEU), Lesotho (LTTU), Namibia (TUN) and Zambia (BETUZ).  The regional unions meet in each of the countries stated above on rotation basis, once in a year mostly in April. 2014 saw Lesotho hosting the ANTUSA events while South Africa hosted this year, 2015, in Durban. Zimbabwe hosted the activities in 2016 in the Victoria Falls Town.

2. Cultural Exhibitions

Culture is what defines us in Africa. Without culture, we are unable to provide for our future generations in terms of values and principles on how to live appropriately and happily in society. As teachers by profession, we are also very well vested in cultural activities to ensure that information, skills and values are passed down to the new generations.
