BETUZ in Lesotho ANTUSA 2019

This year's ANTUSA 2019 was held in Maseru (Lesotho) hosted by LTTU under the theme "ANTUSA moving toward integration of the teaching profession amid cultural diversity". The event was graced by the Minister of Eduction in the Kingdom of Lesotho.  As per custom, the festival was colored in sport games and cultural activities.

All but Zimbabwe (PTUZ) were in attendance for the 2019 edition and saw Botswana and Zambia claim most of the awards with Lesotho also been crowned as Miss ANTUSA 2019 and Zambia returning the Mr ANTUSA 2019. The games were as usual tightly contested with all participating countries giving in their best in the activities.

Activities

This 12th year anniversary programme attracted an approximated 1000 teachers from all member countries who participated in different activities of the programme. This was less than the previous year's total participants. The following are the results recorded

This year, participants were able to exhibit their skill in traditional dances, poetry and song.

3. Mr & Miss ANTUSA Contest

Every year, ANTUSA gets to usher in two new faces for the association brand. This comes in through the ambassadors selected to represent the association at various ceremonies, implement new ANTUSA goals and stand as brand delegates.

The beauty contest brought in the following results :-
